ADJUSTMENT DIFFERENTIAL AND BEARING CLEARANCE SIDE MAIN TRANSMISSION

1.Install differential in the housing and screw jacks bearing caps. With the help of an indicator as set out in the rack, check the runout end of the driven gear. Permissible runout 0.08 mm. If its value exceeds the allowable, remove the cause of the beats (Tighten the bolts, clean up the burrs or nicks, if they found during the inspection). If the heartbeat does not decrease, change differential box. 2.Proverenny differential set in the socket housing with a small barely perceptible lateral clearance between the teeth of the driving and driven gears, screw the adjusting nut (closer to the bearings differential), the bearing caps and tighten the bolt caps. 3.Zavernite adjusting nut with a special key (Fig. 122) of the driven gear to obtain lateral 0.08-0.10 mm gap after tightening the bolts bearing cap differential on the same side. In this case the opposite adjusting nut should not touch the outer ring of the bearing.
