Assembling the brake master cylinder
Before assembly, wash all parts with clean brake fluid,
recommended in Appendix. Two. Do not let the details
with mineral oils, gasoline, kerosene or diesel fuel,
that may damage the cuff. Reassemble the master cylinder
make in that order.
A. Place the cuff on the pistons, the working edge is oriented,
as shown in Fig. 178.
Two. Lubricate the cylinder mirror brake fluid recommended by the
in Anal. Two.
Three. Place the spring on the piston. For ease of installation spring
should be screwed onto the pistons.
4. Lubricate seals with brake fluid recommended in Anal. 2,
and insert the piston into the body of the master cylinder.
WARNING! Brake fluid should be clean, the use of
fluids used in vehicle brake system is unacceptable.
Five. Click on the piston shaft of the first chamber, and then thrust
6. Install the thrust washer 42 (see Fig. 172), spacers 26
and the outer sleeve 43, after brushing them with brake fluid.
7. Install the retaining ring 44.
WARNING! When you install the lock ring on the axial force
cuff should be the minimum necessary, otherwise
the working edge of the outer sleeve can get into the groove, resulting in
a leak in the vacuum booster.
Eight. Insert a new hub connecting tube 29 and 30 set
bushings on the body, after brushing them with brake fluid.
9. Put the tank on the coupling sleeve.
10. Before installing the master cylinder to the vacuum booster check
state of the O-ring 27 and, if necessary, replace.
